What is Dheya?

Dheya is India’s first career assessment and guidance portal. Dheya has an assessment system , called “Personal Asset Finder” (PAF) that assesses your interests, abilities and personality.

Using your strengths identifies by PAF our “career finder” crawls through more than 600 career profiles and lists down the careers that are suitable to your strengths. Your suitability for a certain career will define your success.

Why Dheya?

Every student who stepping into the college/last years of schools comes with series of expectations and aspirations about his career. Though the aspirations are on a higher side we have noticed that the student actually doesn’t know what career to choose and is generally guided through a strong peer and environmental influence that forces him/her to decide a career direction that may or may not be the right choice.

We have also noticed that even if the student decides a career direction he/she is unable to understand how to reach the destination.

Hence we at Dheya have made an effort to help you decide your career option and be successful.

What’s the process of guidance Dheya adopts?

There are many ways of understanding your career needs.

Method 1: We first suggest you to assess yourself using our Personal Asset Finder, after the test you will get a list of careers that are best suited to you. You can then browse the careers and understand the careers in depth. Our careers are linked to courses and courses to education and specializations.

Method 2: If you already are in a college and have chosen which your education stream, for ex.. you have chosen science and heading towards a B.Sc Physics as a qualification, now you can go the reverse way and find out which career options are available for you and then complete the assessment so that you can confirm your suitability for that career.

Method 3: If you find any career attractive, you can just brows your career , identify it and then complete the test, call a counselor of Dheya to help you identify gaps that need to bridged for you to reach your destination.

Why assessments?

Every individual has a set of behaviors, interests, aptitudes and abilities that come naturally (also known as instincts) these are a learned product of experiences starting very early in life. Together these make up an individual's Personal Assets.

Personal Assets are a a mix of personality strengths, abilities and interest. These personal assets go a long way in defining the success in a particular career stream.

While every individual has his personal assets, every career has its own demands of abilities and personality. We at Dheya match the individuals strengths to the career demands so that from the early stage of life every the individual can focus on certain career options being aware of his Personal strengths.

How will Dheya guide me?

We at Dheya will assess you for personality, abilities, and interests using scientifically validated assessment tools. This test will churn out a list suitable professions for a particular set of personality, interest, value and ability mix. We deliver a career guidance report and back it up with counseling sessions where we help him explore varied professions and suggest him to pursue the professions best suited.

Do I need a counselor for understanding the report?

Our career report is comprehensive enough and can easily be understood, however, it is always advisable to take help from an expert counselor to define your career goals.

Once you complete the assessments you will get a career report giving you careers that suit you the best. You could pick up any of the careers that are listed in the report and refer to its courses that lead you to this career. Courses define your line of education, making it easy to choose what you will be successful at. Also it becomes a well informed decision.Alternatively, you can browse through education options that would lead you to the your career of choice.

Dheya is the only portal in India that has information of nearly all the careers in India. Our career profiles are linked to personality and abilities , courses, line of education, degrees and tips to become successful.

I am graduating this year how will Dheya help me?

Dheya will help you to decide which career stream you need to choose for being successful. You can explore careers and post graduate courses from the listing on the site.

How much time does it take to complete the assessment?

We have a battery of 7 ability assessments, 1 interest inventory and one personality test, our ability tests are timed, whereas the interest inventory and personality test is not timed. Normally it takes 75 to 90 minutes to complete the tests.

Do I need to complete the assessments in one go?

We recommend you to complete the assessments in one go, however you can take a break and re-log-in to complete the test at the time suitable to you.

What if I forget my password?

You can click on the link of “Forgot Password” and give your user name, we will email the password to the email address that you have given during the registration.

How does my account get activated after I have made the payment?

Once you have made the payment, you would get a email with a link for the test. You will have to log-in for completing the test.
