About me
My Journey from Engineering to Mentoring has been full of learnings and challenges. I Graduated as a Production Engineer in 1989 from Mumbai University. Worked in multiple Industries and sectors for 30+ years, covering areas like manufacturing, EPC Design & Project management (Water Treatment Industry) IT Consulting and Project & Portfolio management Quality Assurance, People Management, Training, and Mentoring.
During this tenure, I gained experience working with clients across geographies that includes India, NA, Europe, South East with a team size ranging from 50 to 500+. It helped me develop an analytical mind, ability to collaborate, an empathetic approach, and the urge to help others succeed. I decided to move out of a corporate job ahead of retirement age and follow my passion:- Working with the younger generation to mentor and coach them and volunteering for a social cause in the diverse social structure of the society.

Why Your Child’s Career Journey Is Different Than Yours
The generation gap is a thing, and it might [...]
My mission as a career mentor is to help students find a field that they are passionate about. I want students to love what they do instead of treating everything like a burden.
My Career:
I had been a topper in the school all along up to the board examination. I not only stood first in my school, but I also stood first in my district. That was the top of my career journey. However, my career slumped post-high school. I was aiming for an engineering degree. The goal was as per the aspirations of my parents.
Unfortunately, at that time, career counseling services were not available. After graduating a B.Sc. in Physics and mathematics, I still tried my luck in the direction of my goal. I started my professional career as a shop floor supervisor in a fabrication shop. After a few years, I found that it was not of my interest. Then I changed course to sales, planning, programming, and procurement fields. A stroke of luck brought me in the field of HR-Administration field. That is where I found my interest, nature, and strengths lie in. I then never looked back thereon. I continued to work as an HR-Admin manager. My employers changed but not the field of work.
After retirement, I decided to put all my experience and knowledge gained in the 30 years of experience to guide the young generation as a career mentor. That is what I am today.
I graduated as Science graduate from Mumbai University with Physics and Mathematics. During my career quest, I learnt programing, business management, materials management etc.
