Hospitality Careers in India

The next session was moderated by Parag Joshi, with Mr. Amit Jain. 

Mr. Jain started by introducing hotel management as a career, along with the scope in India and abroad. He emphasized on the point that it is a practical field and is always in high demand. He discussed the different departments in a hotel and the courses that offer related certifications. He informed about the prominent institutes and universities that provide necessary knowledge and skills. He also commented on the effect of the current pandemic scenario on hotel management.  

He mentioned that it is a field where all streams and specializations are welcomed and informed about career opportunities in hotel management for those with specializations in other streams.
