Scholarships to study abroad

Getting education abroad is a dream for many Indian students. It comes with ample opportunities and an exciting lifestyle. Undoubtedly, studying abroad can be a great career decision. But there is one important aspect that tends to be a huge wall in a student’s dream to study abroad. Money.  

Studying abroad can be quite expensive. Not just in terms of fees but also living costs. The standard market rates of the products there might not be very high. But due to unfavorable conversion rates, the expenses might add up to a lot of money. This is the reason why many people choose to stay in India instead of going abroad to study.But a great soul once said, “Where there’s a will there’s a way.” And in this case, the way is scholarships.

  • Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program: This one is for professional and non-degree students. It is a fellowship program that supports the academic pursuits of Indian professionals. 

Similarly, a few other governments offer scholarship programs to encourage international students to study in their countries. 

  • DAAD Scholarships: This program offers scholarships to foreign students who want to study in Germany. It is funded by the German government 
  • Erasmus+: This scholarship is funded by the European Commission. It supports students that want to move to Europe for their education. It might even cover your living costs in full.
