UP Scholarship: An opportunity for every struggling student
The idea of scholarships in educational institutions like colleges and universities has existed for a while. But, what does it mean to receive a scholarship?
“A scholarship is a form of financial aid awarded to students to further their education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria, such as academic merit, diversity and inclusion, athletic skill, and financial need.”
While the recipients are not required to repay scholarships, the awards may require that the recipient continue to meet certain requirements during their period of support, such as maintaining a minimum grade point average or engaging in a certain activity – example: playing on a school sports team for athletic scholarship holders, or serving as a teaching assistant for some graduate scholarships). The state of Uttar Pradesh is known to have its scholarship, which is given to students residing in that area.
