Ages 45+ · Legacy & Purpose

Design Legacy

The strategic investment: turning decades of expertise into your most purposeful work yet.

The rarest career mistake is having built something substantial and then letting inertia decide what comes next. Design Legacy uses RAPD + BBD + Work Preferences and certified career strategists to help you design your next chapter — with the same rigour that built your first.

Who It's For

Built for professionals designing what comes next

Design Legacy is for professionals aged 45+ who have reached a point of reckoning — not because the career has failed, but because it has run its obvious course and the next chapter requires deliberate design.

  • Approaching or past peak corporate career and considering what a meaningful next phase looks like
  • Building an advisory or board portfolio and wanting a psychometric framework for which roles to pursue
  • Transitioning from employment to consulting, independent practice, or social sector work
  • Healthy, active, and decades from retirement — but done with the structure of traditional employment

What You Get

A life-work audit

RAPD + BBD + Work Preferences maps not just career fit but life priorities — what work needs to give you at this stage beyond income.

A written IDP for the next decade

Destination

Sustained Contribution Review

Review your first year in the new chapter — against the IDP, your personal goals, and the legacy framework you designed.

The Assessments

Three instruments. One life-stage picture.

Design Legacy uses the three instruments most relevant to intentional legacy design — combining career personality, decision wisdom, and work values into a complete framework.

25 minutes

RAPD Assessment

Maps Role, Aptitude, Profile, and Drive — the four dimensions of career fit that remain stable and relevant at every life stage.

30 minutes

BBD Battery

Big Five personality and Decision Style — revealing the decision patterns you've developed over decades of experience, and how they shape your legacy options.

15 minutes

Work Preferences

Maps what you need from work at this life stage — purpose, autonomy, social contribution, intellectual stimulation, and structure. The filter every legacy option is measured against.

The Process

What happens step by step

From intake to IDP handover, every touchpoint is structured — so you always know where you are and what comes next.

Life-Work History Intake

A 30-minute intake covering your career arc, key decisions, proudest achievements, and what you want the next chapter to mean.

Assessment Battery

Complete RAPD, BBD, and Work Preferences online at your own pace. Combined time approximately 70 minutes. Results in 48 hours.
